The family and I are really struggling financially, so when money was tight my wool stash became even more obsolete, but I have come up with a way, yes that's right, just blog about it, so when the money does come round then you can actually know what I'm talking about.
This time I will be talking about a knitted blanket that I'm doing for the youngest - bless her, all she keeps saying its "Mummy, have you finished?" nothing too much to spur you on, anyway the wool is easy to work with, and is a nice colour of wine red - actually it's called Lipstick, bought at Castle Market, Special by StyleCraft, this is very popular and I would imagine easy to get anywhere, if you can't get to Castle Market, I'm sure you will get a friendly face at The Wool Baa, willing to help out. I had started this a while ago but I have been faultering with it, I have set out out a little plan of how I want it to look and making seven squares of each and then the daunting job of sewing them all together is not something I'm relishing.
Spent last night trying to draw sheep and I guess it's a process which I'm having to learn ;)
Other news that is not knitting related Kotaku, a site dedicated to all that is geek, have just released
their first radio/podcast thingy
In it will be chatting about the new PSPGo, the Tokyo Game Show and Modern Warfare 2, the game - don't ask me about the latter, I know nothing about it!
