Crochet, although less known than knitting but equally as important has been linked more often than not to the70s and awful crochet jumpers.

Luckily, we have moved on from that and it is a little more refined, although there are times where it's not always the case.

There are so many things that you can make from your basic granny square blankets, Jumpers, homewear - not the doilies that used to live on your auntie's sideboard but cushion covers, bunting to put your birthday cards up on or even if you are feeling adventurous net curtains with crochet cotton. There is also a craze from Japan called arigurumi (pronounced ari-gur-u-mi) which I love to do because they are small project and you can take them anywhere.
