This is a lovely film with a very stylized animation. Marjan, the main character and her coming of coming of age in Iran, and the life path that is chosen that she struggles to fit into, her commitment to her family and making sense of the world around her. The makers had a fantastic year and were awarded many awards from The British Film Institute Awards(2007), Cannes Film Festival (2007) and The César Awards, France (2008)
Well worth the watch.
