This week I have had the opportunity to go to the monthly knitting meeting at The Wool Baa, buying fridge magnets from there and it look it's so cute
Also going to Cocoa for more knitting, I bought a treat when I was there.
its wonderful and the taste reminds me so much of Grenada. Shopping for buttons & slippers that look like Dorothy's ruby red slippers and having a nosey at Patchwork Garden on Ecclesall Road.
My cross stitch crazy also came too, it had a free gift of five different pink threads, it will be stitch for Breast Cancer so I'm sure there will be plenty of stitching groups taking the advantage of using these threads
I have been improving my crochet skills, which at times has been extremely frustrating as I really don't know what I'm doing, but when I went to Cocoa, one of the ladies there (she's the owner of Craft Angels in Crosspool) suggested going to Attic24 (a blog) where a lady has made some gorgeous granny square blankets and an easy way of following a crochet pattern. just as a side point I have been catching up with True Blood and Lafeyette had a similar blanket, nothing like living in a small world - I commented to my honey, that I had quite liked the shawls and the blankets that were in the show, who would have thought :)
Today was filled with magic by putting Kiki's delivery Service on. Another Miyazaki masterpieice and the kids and myself do not get bored of it, the youngest was was gripped and when the perilous scene came up where Kiki is off to save Tombo she was shouting at the TV "Be Careful", so sweet :)
